Cold Feed Control System

The Libra FCS-1100 Cold Feed Controller is a PC-based system that is designed to increase productivity by accurately and continually proportioning the desired amount of raw material on to the collector belt. The FCS-1100 automatically controls the speed of the cold feed belts based on the selected product and requested TPH.

The Libra computer system provides the displays and allows the operator to input the ingredient percentage and moisture content. Each cold feed bin motor is started sequentially, based on the mix design, and is controlled to maintain the requested dry TPH.
