The Libra FCS-1000 RAP Feed
Controller is a PC-based control system that is designed to
increase productivity by accurately and continually
proportioning the desired amount of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement
(RAP) into the virgin aggregate. The FCS-1000 automatically
controls the speed of the RAP conveyor based on the TPH of
both the virgin and RAP
conveyor belts.
The Libra computer system
provides the displays and allows the operator to input the RAP
percentage and moisture content. The feeder control for the
RAP material is controlled such that the RAP is proportioned
to the virgin aggregate to meet at the hot elevator at the
proper time and proportions. A separate Parameter File
contains the startup and shutdown delay times based on the
plant configuration. |
